Our Church

“I am the vine; you are the branches.

If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

We are a non-denominational Church founded in the belief, faith, will, and the Word, of Jesus Christ.

Our Church puts Christ in the center of all things, by loving Him, loving others, and preaching the Gospel.

Becoming a Church member means joining a family who,

each day, are devoted to expressing their love of God.

Our Mission

To Glorify God

The Vine Pentecostal Church is a Church committed to

Christ and His word.

We are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through ministry, fellowship and worship. Our Church is not just a house of worship. At its core are the members and believers that come together to practice God’s word, celebrate His love and to bring God's people back to Him by helping those broken, hurt, or lost.

Our Beliefs

Trinity Knot 2.jpg

The Trinity

We believe that the Trinity is in three persons:

the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God.jpg

One God

We believe in one God, the Father,

the creator of heaven and earth.

Jesus Image.jpg

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, and that He is God and man.

We believe He was conceived by God the Father,

and through the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for all mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. We believe He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and  will return again in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

The Holy Spirit

We believe Christians are people who have asked Jesus Christ to live in their heart as their Lord and Savior, and at that moment receive the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to empower the believer in the working of their gifts. These gifts are manifested through a variety of Spiritual gifts. They are the gift of knowledge, wisdom, prophecy, faith, healing, working of miracles, discerning of Spirits, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. We believe these gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.

Pentecost.jpg

Pentecostal

The name Pentecostal comes from the Book of Acts and the event of The Day of Pentecost, where early Christians received the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe that these gifts can be present during any Church service or in our personal lives.

Pentecostal worship is characterized by emotional, lively expressions of worship.

The Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without any error, and the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

“All Scripture is God‑breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”

II Timothy 3:16-17

Creation and Man

We believe in the Biblical account of the creation of the universe and the earth; that God created by His Word the heavens, the earth, and all their hosts, and all things were created by Him, and for Him. We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin by voluntary transgression, and therefore lost. We believe man’s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

and through the works of the Holy Spirit man's salvation and spiritual life can be obtained.

Light of Heaven.jpg

Eternity

We believe that Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in Jesus Christ until His return and reign during the millennial reign.

We believe that upon death, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels.

Salvation

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin by voluntary transgression, and therefore lost, and that man’s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, and through the works of the Holy Spirit man's salvation and spiritual life can be obtained. We believe that through repentance, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts, and is possible by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Baptism.jpg

Baptism

We believe that baptism is the immersion in water and a public confession of faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the

Holy Spirit. We believe baptism is not to be regarded as means for man's salvation.

communion.jpg

Communion

We believe that communion is a ceremony commemorating the Last Supper in which bread and wine/juice are consumed and represent the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross.
